Below are a couple of emails from Daves wife Sandy Edlund (01bergerss). On 8-22-08 Dave had a massive heart attack. They Don't Have Insurance. They are having a benefit dinner for Dave to help pay the medical bills and rehabilitation costs. The Benefit is Saturday Nov. 1 starting at 2pm at the VFW Post 6285 East Apple Ave. Muskegon, Mi. 49442.

Hi every one in the WMCC. Dave and I really miss seeing everyone this year. I wanted to take a moment and let you all no that on 8-22-08 Dave had a massive heart attack, the widow maker. The call to 911 went out at 4:20am and he was rushed to Mercy Hospital in Muskegon where he underwent emergency surgery. They were unable to repair the damage so they placed a balloon (angioplasty). On August 23rd, Dave's 58th Birthday he underwent triple by pass. He is home recovering. We have been unable to attend any functions of the club this year due to his job. However, he left being a hooker (wrecker driver) to free up some time for 2009 to enjoy the Camaro's and your company. He had taken a position as a recovery agent, Thus giving him 1 1/2 day off a week so we could enjoy the cars again next year. PROBLEM. We have no medical insurance. It was to take effect on Oct 1. Riegler Recovery along with several other caring friends have scheduled a benefit spaghetti dinner, silent auction, band and a great time for November 1 at 2pm at the VFW on 6285 E. Apple Ave. in Muskegon 49442, It would be great to see a bunch of Camaro's in the parking lot. I am sure it would make Dave feel much better, I hope to see you all there....Thank You....Sandy Edlund

The benefit for Dave Edlund is Next Saturday Nov. 1 starting at 2pm at the VFW on Apple Ave. in Muskegon MI.... There has been such great support from friends and local companies. The silent auction sounds like it is going GREAT. At last word there is 2 bands that will be performing!!! I sure can't wait to see the CAMARO's!!!!! and the look on Dave's face. Yipppeeee. Please pass it on to the members of the WMCC. I hope to see you all next weekend....
