The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Where did you hear that BS about the Corvette? True it's limited production but there's no requirement on having to own 7 or even one Corvette. Right now they're only planning on making it for 2 or 3 years, I'd imagine because the C7 will be coming along. 620HP is an estimate right now, they're still working out final tuning before they get offical numbers.
Im amazed you got a pic of the black Lambo without the model glued to it. She was all over it when I was there taking pics early Saturday.

This is not the C7,
Its the ZR1. And only 2000 are being made. I did not hear the announcer say anything because I didn't get the corvette in time. I heard 2 people complaining that you have to own 7 corvettes to qualify since there are only 2000 being built. I also heard it on CNBCs hour special on the auto show.
I KNOW it's the C6 ZR1. I was there early Saturday morning for a special unveiling for it. They said they were only planning on making it for 2 or 3 years right now. I meant they are probably only making it for that short period of time because in about 4 years they will be bringing out the C7 Corvette. Whoever is spreading the BS about having to own 7 Corvettes needs to cut it out. There is NO requirement to buy this car other than having money and being able to find one. They said that since it is so limited only Chevy dealers that sell a lot of Corvettes will be allotted them. They haven't worked out all the details yet though. The car won't be out until late summer/early fall this year.

I took some pics of the chinese cars too. You will notice that they are using mistubishi mototrs too. The engine without the cover is a wimpy 1.8 liter mitsubishi motor that looks about 1o years old.
Those stupid Chinese vehicles rip off a lot of other parts/designs as well. One company's grill was a Caddy grill in black plastic with their logo instead of a Caddy crest. Another company had a ripoff Mercedes roadster with exact copy headlights and a folding hard top. Another one looked like a ripped off VW Jetta side profile with newer Caddy looking taillights and a Volvo-esque front end. Then there were those weird freaky bubble car things. The only name I could pronounce of the Chinese companies there was Geeley. Support Communism, Buy Chinese!
