Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!
If you have any problems with the registration process or your account login, please contact us!
I can't wait to see your '73 at the Berger Show. We're getting close, just a couple of weeks .........
RIP Doug,You will always be remembered

I am trying to get some things finished up for the Berger show. I still don't have any reservations made yet and we were thinking of taking the ferry over too so those reservations need to be made yet too. Money is tight and I may have to back out, I hate to say that as I really want to do this show! I am going to do all I can to make it!

Looking great, Derek. We're trying to have as much done on Project DZ74 as possible, too. Every detail will not be done, but it should still look pretty good. Hope you can make it over to the show.

All of the attachments have been fixed. I kept the attachments in the vbulletin folder when I moved the site to the new server, but it was specifically looking for the old directory location. I moved all the attachments to where it was looknig and TADA it started working again.

Awesome Camaro Derek! Would love to see it at the Berger show. Hope you can make it!
Thanks! It looks like I will be able to make it to Berger so I am going to make some reservations right away on monday. Can't wait!
Here are some pics of my air intake I made up this weekend. I did it as low cost as possible by using scrap parts from work and parts I had laying around and I think I turned out great! I am still waiting for my K&N filter and then it will be done.

Update on my 73. It's out of commision for awhile!!!
I never liked the way my 73 sat with the Hotchkis TVS system so memorial weekend and this weekend I worked on lowering the front end and many other odds and ends in hopes to have it ready for a local car show June 7th.
Well I finished up the front end yesterday afternoon, mounted the wheels on the hubs, tightend the lugs, lowered the car and then went to torque the LH Front wheel's lugs when all of a sudden while torquing, a loud "POP" happend, then I wend to another lug and "POP" again! I said, this can't be good.
Back up a couple of years; I have my own home made C5 disc brake conversion kit, and in order to use the "HAT" style rotor from the C5s, you need a "hub", I ended up finding out that a front brake rotor from a 3rd gen F-body has the correct offset so all you need to do is remove the rotor and you have your self a hub. The next step to making the hub work was pressing out the studs (metric) and pressing in 1/2-20 studs (after drilling out the metric holes to accomodate the larger 1/2-20 studs.
Fast forward to yesterday, I decided to dig into what caused the "pop" and all I had to do was look on the back side of the hub only to see 1/3 of the hub cracked, not good, this could have been catastrophic!
Here are some pics to show the carnage, enjoy, I sure did, NOT.
