And yeah, that's definitely crazy about the whole PC meltdown. The last time I visited CamaroEvolution to post I was completely flabbergasted by the amount of obnoxious advertisements. I had to scroll down half a screen to see any content because of the massive half-page banner. I never got an e-mail about ProjectCamaro being converted to CamaroEvolution so next thing I know I get an e-mail on myspace or facebook or something asking "Hey, what happened to ProjectCamaro?" Can't remember who I asked but someone told me it's called CamaroEvolution now. Couldn't believe he just randomly changed the name - you had brand recognition on ProjectCamaro simply because it's been around so long. Changing the name to CamaroEvolution and not having a forwarding script set up so ProjectCamaro would take you to the new name was dumb on his part, even though he claims it forwarded "for awhile." And now to just yank the site down like he did... strange man, indeed. Can't believe he basically bought it and ran it into the ground, but that's usually what happens. I'll never forget when South Eastern Michigan Boys car club website was sold to a guy over in Europe... site went cold pretty quick.- Brian Meissen

Yea never trust sites with foreigners haha the guy who bought PC.com was from Canada I believe.. If he actually talked and posted like he cared about the site people may have stayed.Originally posted by meissen View PostI'll never forget when South Eastern Michigan Boys car club website was sold to a guy over in Europe... site went cold pretty quick.

Yeah I used to go on a few sites, but I dont go on many at all anymore.. I never have time usually to sit down on the computer, oddly enough.. I get sick of working on them all day. But Ive just been working and hopefully this will be my last semester of school. New girlfriend and all, so Ive just been keeping busy.Back for the first time.

I just don't understand it, he spent the money to buy the site and he did spend a lot of money upgrading the software and doing other stuff but why he still let it go down I'll never understand.Originally posted by Adric View PostYea never trust sites with foreigners haha the guy who bought PC.com was from Canada I believe.. Oh well, some people can do it and some can't I guess.

Wow that is too bad. But I am sure I speak for all us MIfbody folk when we say you are all welcome here in our humble little group. Feel free to post as often as you like. BTW how do you like that Malibu? I was told that would be an ideal future project for me. See you around!
