  • Firebird Club Update 3/26/07

I just wanted to provide everyone with an update of what is going on in our club.

We will be aiding the WMCC annd the EMCC in judging their annual Camaro Superfest June 30-July 1. This will help our club to improve relations with other clubs and will also add a nice chunk of needed funding to our club bank account.

Steve (Sping012) and David (Gtpson) are continuing work on our club website. Looks very nice so far! I can't wait to see what these two come up with.

I have ordered our club banner, have printed some club business cards, and am working on organizing the next club event / meeting.

If you have any ideas for a meeting / show event in the next month please let me know. I think this will be a centralized meeting again.

Also I hope to start organizing some recruiting events.

    Thanks everybody.

I vote for an outdoor GTG soon as well! Are we still planning to meetup at the Spring Dustoff in Davisburg? I've been planning to register, but have been waiting to see what y'all are planning. Does anyone know, if we register can we all park together?

Anyway, looking forward to the next event

From what i understand the Spring Dust-Off is our first major event. I think the only way we will be able together will be for us to meet-up some place and cruise in together.

Well, my place is about 10-15 minutes from the show site . . . we could meet here in the AM & cruise through Holly, down to Davisburg, then over to the site if you all want to. I might even convince my wife to make breakfast

Hey Ben, any more updates on the Firebird Club?

                    Is the Website idea dead?

I also had a couple of questions about the club in general.
Is this going to be a Firebird only club, or will it be letting anyone join?

Also, was there a decision made on membership fees?
Was there a decision made when they were to be collected?

Kind of looking for a Firebird or Firebird and Camaro Only club in Michigan to join but so far no luck, your Firebird club seems to have the most promise, but have not heard much about it in a while.

I have sent several emails and I have not heard back about the website. At the last meeting we established that this would be a firebird owners club only. We still need to vote on the club membership fees. I am going to schedule a meeting this month.
