  • Help Needed

The Camaro Superfest Planning Committee is looking for new judges for our show. We would like to offer this opportunity to the Michigan Firebird Club. We need 8 judges for Saturday (June 30) and Sunday (July 1). These would be the same people for both days. We will pay your Club $1,200.00 for this job.

We need these judges to be knowledgeable, have at least 5 years experience around F-bodies and be committed to doing a professional job over the weekend. You would use the judging sheets we provide.

The judges (and only the judges) would be allowed to park their cars next to the Judging Tent during the show to help promote your Club.

If you guys are interested, and have more questions, you can e-mail me at Our96ss@aol.com

This sounds interesting. I will check my schedule, but if everything looks good I would be game to help judge our Camaro brothers.

Wow, that's an awesome opportunity! Maybe Jeff or Mike would be interested? He seems vastly knowledgeable with Fbodies.

Well put David. MIFC will help out in whatever way possible. If you need judges, I would be glad to help find them. I would be honored to do it myself, but I am afraid I am not as knowledgeable about fbodies as many others around here. But I am confident we have a few gurus amongst us.

Thanks for the responses, guys. I would like to coordinate this through Ben, since he's the President of the Firebird Club. I know how hard it is when you are just starting out building a new Club. Putting some cash in the Club treasury is hard at first and this is a way for us to help support the Firebird Club.

Stay tuned as we work out the details.

                        Ol' Rock N' Roller

Ang, Your knowledge, and Desire would be enough in my opinon.

We have a every detailed check off sheet to use as a guide, and the biggest points are for cleanness.

We would match up young judges, with more older, knowlegable judges, so that will help.

Also, we have four judging lanes, one four each generation. And you stay with that gen through out the two days, so you see all the same generation cars, and it would seem to get easier as the day goes on.

                        just my two cents worth...

OK Seen as how I'm the SUPERFEST Judging Super let me ADD my 2 cents. This is a SERIOUS job folks, nothing to be taken lightly. We NEED 8 people to judge this show. You will be judging based on cleanliness and overall condition. Myself and the other classifiers will put people into the correct class. You just have to judge them based on the judging sheets we will provide.

Now if you sign up you will be expected to be there SATURDAY & SUNDAY. DON'T sign up if you are UNSURE if you can be there. I don't need to be trying to find judges on Sat or Sun morning. I have too many other things to do.

I expect the judges to be Impartial, Mature, and PROFESSIONAL.

Don't mean to scare anyone off, just need to get it out there.

                          Thanks Gary
