my new trans am ws6 build thread

i bought my 2001 artic white ws6 with 21k miles back in october the car had a ms4 cam performabuilt 4l60le tranny with a 4000 yank stall pacesetter lts ypipe and a borla catback i was just going to do a gear swap and nitrous and then it quickly got out of control lol i ended up doing pretty much every bolt on i could i just wrapped up my build with alot of help from my best friend lance norman who is on the forum alot and my pops. I dropped the car off last sat to a guy by the name of jesse murrary for a tune hes currently tuning it now ill post the results of the dyno numbers when hes done! hes a great guy i had alot of guys on ls1tech point me in his direction when i was asking for some tuning help hes local if anyone needs a good tune pm me ill get you his info....here is the list of my mods

gear swap and tranny pan

first thing we did was swap my gears i went with richmond 373s and a gurdle cover and we installed the new derrelle tranny pan

subframe connectors

ordered a set of umi sub frames and got those installed after the gear swap

Looks like it is coming along nicely! I also see you are in toledo, where at? I'm up here in monroe about half an hour from toledo. Actually went down to the gm powertrain show last summer.

after i did those couple of things i decided to just to go all out or as much as my pocket would allow started ordering parts and taking my car apart

oem ram air decal

i hate the big ftp logo that comes on the 104mm air lid so i bought a oem ram air decal off of ebay and took it too a local sign and decal guy and had him resize it to fit the air lid i think it turned out pretty good nice little touch

nitrous

got my 15lb bottle in and the return line ran bought a nos window, lingenfelter timing box, bottle warmer, bottle blanket turn down tube, 102mm nitrous plate inline nitrous express filter and the ashtray switch im sure there is more i didnt realize how much went into running a proper nitrous system that will all be installed this spring

C2YT i do remember i had sold my 2004 whippled cobra the day before the show so i took my 2013 silver hemi daytona charger i did like 3 huge burnouts with it lol i sold my cobra because i was looking for ws6 i bought this a month later
