Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!
If you have any problems with the registration process or your account login, please contact us!
Its the old section of road made out of bricks from the days before the new stuff. Saginaw might jump in with back to the planks. When they were redoing pipes under the roads last yr they found the old plank roads they ised back in logging days to keep out of the mud. Flint does their show on the BRICKS. There is the reason for back to the bricks.
I've read (Cruis'News), heard (forums) and seen (My Classic Car TV) good things about this event, but have never been. With it being the same week/weekend as Woodward, it's always a choice. Since I know my way around Woodward, I always end up choosing that, it seems. I'll have to check this out next year.

Now wouldn't that be something! Drive up to Frankenmuth in the T/A for an overnight stay, up early the next morning and drive into Saginaw for some breakfast and a car cruise, a blast down I75 to Flint for lunch and another cruise, then another highway run down to Woodward for more cruising and dinner.
I love cruising the bricks because it is closer to where I live. The weekday cruises are really good and you should join us next year dave.
If you want to compare the B2B's saturday car show to Woodward Saturday show/cruise. Woodward a whole lot better IMO. I will not be taking either of my Firebirds to park in the B2B's Saturday car show again. I did it once and it was enough for me. I left the show with finger prints all over my car, someone actually leaned up against my car to tie their shoes, people would not get out of my way when I was trying leave the show and it took a long time to just get out of my parking spot, there was a fight down by Halo burger, and etc... I just feel like there is a lack of respect for the cars parking in the B2B car show.

Well, I'm just down the road from you, so Flint is not too far to go for a weekday cruise. As a matter of fact, I'll be in Lapeer within the hour.
I'm not too much of a "show" guy, I don't think. Haven't entered the car in any (I don't really feel it's particularly show worthy), but for a number of personal reasons, I'm not sure it's how I want to spend my time. Especially in a large city. What you are describing certainly sounds like the sort of thing I'd like to avoid.
The Woodward crowd is pretty respectful, but you still run into those who are a few bricks shy of a full load. While in the Staples lot on Saturday night talking to a fellow MiFBody member, I noticed a big 16oz energy drink can on the pavement. Didn't think too much of it, thought I'd pick it up and throw it away on my way out (I was standing on the "front line", but my car was not parked there). I hate seeing trash left behind...it's one sure way to turn off residents and property owners to the Cruise.
While standing there talking, a group comes by, and a young (16?) y.o. girl kicks the can...across the lot, right at the line of cruisers cars! I saw her winding up, and said "don't kick that can toward the cars", but before I got to "toward", away it went. Fortunately, it skidded to a stop just short of a Charger in our roped off area. I picked it up and threw it in with some others, to prevent a repeat performance. She just stared at me blankly with a "what?" expression.

It is a shame that some people just do not understand how hard it is to make our pride and joys look the way they do. At any large event like Woodward you will have a lot of people that litters and it annoys me too.
You should come to a lapeer, davison, or holly car show sometime. They don't require you to have a "show car". They are fun to go to. I usually go to the Lapeer car show whenever possible. I usually head to the Davison Car show every now and then.
