All Trans Am & Firebird Show THIS WEEKEND

Thanks for sharing pics John. We must of missed the original thread. I will keep an eye out for this next year.
I have been making a small list of shows that the MIFC can go to.
So far I have:
Mifbody Meet'n Greet at Bakers May 30, 2015
MIFC Meet'n Greet- unknown date
Motorcity POCI at Bakers July 18,2015
Pontiac Nationals July 31, August 1, and August 2nd.
Trans Am Nationals-unknown date

I will add this to it. Let me know when you get next years date.

Trans Am Nationals-unknown date.

The TA Nationals are always the last weekend of August before the Labor Day weekend. (if that makes sense) This year it's being held on Aug 22nd-24th. The venue has changed this year too, it's now being held at the Holiday Inn in Fairborn, Ohio.

Are you planning on going to ta nationals this year or no? This would be a first for me if I go this year

Yep planning on it. Really, for me, the best part of the TA Nats is the Friday Night cruise-in to Tipp City.

Is Saturday pretty good or no? If I end up going down i think I will only be down there for one day (Saturday). Maximum two days if I can find a decently priced hotel/motel in the area. That would have to be Friday and Saturday.

Oops my mistake, Tipp City is on Saturday night. So yes Saturday is the best day to be there. Tipp City is a small town north of Dayton, they block off the entire downtown, and fill it with Firebirds and Trans Ams only......It's a blast and the show/cruise-in goes well into the night. Somewhere here you'll find photos I've posted from past events.

That's great. Nothing can sneak up on us next year. I like it! This year has NOT been a great one for me to get out much. Hopefully next year will be a little better.

Hopefully I can make it on Saturday then. It is only a 4 hour drive there and then a 4 hour drive back home for me. I am really hoping I can make it because I missed out on Pontiac Nationals, so I would like to at least go to Trans Am Nationals.

That is what I am hoping to achieve by making the list. It seems like so many shows snuck up on us this year.
I wish I could find some Pontiac car shows in the lansing area and the west side of the state because I only know of the shows around my area.

Are you a Cruis'news subscriber? I am, and in the last year they have added "Scooter" to their roster of reporters/authors. Scooter is from the west side of the state, and is reporting exclusively on it. He might be a good person to make a cold call to for info. on Poncho events on that side of the state.

I'll probably be out on Woodward tomorrow at lunch, and again in the evening, and hope to hit one of the Cruis'news booths, so if I run into Dana out there, I'll repeat my request in person.
