The winner of the Firebird of the Month (FOTM) competition will have their photo used as the cover photo for the MIFC facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/groups/462580780449573/). The Firebird of the Month will be open for photo submissions 7 days before the 1st of the month and close as soon as voting opens. You can submit your photo using Facebook or in the Monthly FOTM thread on Mifbody. Voting will open 3 days before 1st of the month. Voting will be done on Mifbody and on the Facebook page. Voting on Mifbody will be done through a poll and on the Facebook page using likes. I will add the votes together. Please only vote on Mifbody or on Facebook once. If you voted more than once your vote won’t count.
Please plan ahead and take pictures before we close photo submissions. PM me if you have any issues with the rules, how things are to be done, or anything about the photo competition.
Firebird of the Month (FOTM) Rules
1) Must own or have owned the Firebird in the picture
2) Must be an MIFC member
3) The photo must be a good quality picture, so it doesn’t appear to be blurry or pixilated when it is used as a Cover Photo.
4) Cannot vote for your own car
January- Drag Strip, Autocross, Car Show, and Parade Pic
February- 1st Gen Firebird 67-69
March- 2nd Gen Firebird 70-81
April- 3rd Gen Firebird 82-92
May- 4th Gen Firebird 93-02
June- MIFC-best in show trophy winner
July- Group Photo from the MIFC Meet’n Greet
August- No Restriction as long as a Firebird is in the pic.
September-Firebird Base
October- Firebird Formula
November- Firebird Trans Am
December- Firebird Special Edition (Anniversary Edition, Collector Edition, Pace Car, etc…)
If there are no submissions for one of the month’s category, then there will be no restriction for that month and any MIFC member can submit a photo of their Firebird. We will notify members when this occurs.
