Finally decided to stop being lazy and formally join the Michigan FIrebird Club. I have a 1971 Firebird Formula 455. Original block is punched out .030 to 462 cubes. Crower Rods, Ross pistons, Crower 60916 hydraulic cam, Edelbrock 87cc heads, 1.65 rockers, 850 Speed Demon Carb, Torker II intake. MSD Pro Billet Distributor, 6AL box, and coil. 3" mandrel bent exhaust, TH400 tranny w/ Hughes Performance Rebuild kit, Kolene Steels, Red Alto race frictions, Kevlar-lined race band, 3,000 TCI stall convertor. Moser axles, 3.08 gears. I've owned it for eight years and have put about 15k on it in that time. Best time with 3.08 gears: 12.009 at 111.55 MPH

Here's a couple pics I just shot at 1:30 in the morning last Saturday night:

Had a party at the house so I was feeling no pain when I decided to play with time exposures of the car. All of the pics feature only the light of the moon and a citronella torch. Sorry about the last pic. I tried to remove it when I noticed it needed to be rotated but can't take it out.

                              What he said...

BTW, I took a stab at trying to rotate the last pic for you -- hope you like how it turned out! It's a great shot, I didn't want to see you just delete it!

Thanks for the comments and the photo correction. Just wish I did a little better on the focus but it was pretty dark out so the autofocus wasn't working and neither was my eye!

They were all 30 second exposures on a tripod.
