lol, theyre rattle-canned. i hate it, it looks like shit close up, i didnt do it tho. if you're gonna paint em, powder coat em, or if you just want them temporary black you can get that plastidip stuff, its rubber that you just spray on like paint, looks pretty good on my buddys cobalt ss, and if you dont want it anymore, you simply peel it off. anyways just dont paint it with spray paint like the idiots before me, im gonna try getting rid of em after winter and get something shiny black, not shitty stock rim walmart spray paint black.

this is the best picture i have right now tho

Thanks, dragon, me too. Mine is actually slightly more uncommon than normal as is, because I have the factory fog lamp option. From what I can tell, this was a decently uncommon option for these years because they got pretty different bumper covers. Some were even painted in the intendeted areas where the amber running lamps go. Mine however, has the factory fog lamp option and has the more uncommon nose. Personally, I like the fog lamp nose better

Didn't even notice the fog lamps till you mentioned it.
I like it, it looks like it was done right.

Let's strip and sand those rims and paint them the right way then!!

i will.. eventually. right now its all i got. when i get a nice set ill use them for show and use these for performance, which i will then sand and powdercoat black. until then, they stay like this. besides if i am keeping it and going thru the winter, im sure there may be a couple curb bumps, dont want to make em look all pretty and smash em up lol. and idk yet shawn, it seems like i am gonna keep it, im gonna be picky with trade offers, ive gotten 3 so far i dont like, if i get one that applies to what im looking for ill probly take it. who knows? and i agree, jons bumper looks better than any 3rd gens ive seen. with his new formula hood and a fresh paintjob, itll be even better lol

Yeah I totally forgot. I don't know who's seen my $50 super clean hood, but I got a hood from a guy on craigslist. For $50. And it's clean.

Above is my $50 clean formula hood. He said it was a turbo hood, but it's got a scoop on it and will help lower engine compartment temperature for my poor little TBI to breathe from. It'll get painted before it gets installed though ... The hood and fenders. I'll most likely get some new fenders for it before I get all this done, because where the wheel well liners have those plastic clips that hold it to the edge are all rusty.

I had never heard of a "Sevan Series" Trans AM. Who built this one?

They was made down in Dallas ,Texas at Evan's Pontiac, which was sold by 2002.
The name sevan series comes from the owner of the dealership Steve Evans (S. Evans)
Only 30-50 of these cars was made in 2000.
They are more so known of down in Dallas area, where Evan's Pontiac was.
Outside of Texas these cars are not really heard of.
Far as I can find, I have the only sevan series in Michigan so far.

I'm the original owner of this weekend toy. 1998 Trans Am T-top, bright red exterior with camel leather interior, 17,xxx miles. It's bone stock - even has the original air in the tires . Never been driven in the winter or for work, only for fun. I've considered many different mods over the years, but since it's a very low mileage "original" I've decided to keep it that way (for now!)

I don't have any really great pics but here is one that's "OK". I'm planning to get some better ones soon, to post on the calendar thread.
