The Michigan Firebird Club's unofficial "board of directors" have unanimously voted in favor of purchasing a new banner. As such, I believe we could stand to give the club logo a facelift as well.
So, we are looking for a creative, well-executed club logo, which should include something Firebird-related as far as a graphic, and incorporate the club name or "MIFC" into the logo somehow. I will leave the rest up to you all. It doesn't need to be anything too terribly intricate, as it is going to be used on the next batch of t-shirts, decals, business cards, and flyers, but I would like something that is creative and unique.
In addition to the graphic, we need to get a new banner made for the club. The banner is going to be 8' long by 2 1/2' tall. It should include the logo that is chosen by popular vote here, and large font with the name of the club. Anything else is up to you, I'm giving you room for creative expression.
As far as a prize goes, I will give the creators of the winning logo and banner designs a t-shirt with the new logo on it (after we place the next order), and we can negotiate for something additional (maybe a gift card to some place auto-related?)
We are working on a loose deadline, I'd like to get the new banner ordered in time to receive it before August 5th, but if we can't make that deadline, we'll just use the old banner one more time.
