Anybody want to do a Firebird cruise this summer?

if you really want to do it when the leaves are changing, best plan for no earlier than the 1st or 2nd weekend in october . . . unless you want to go farther north than the thumb. Michelle and I do a fall color trip most years, so we've gotten pretty good at figuring out the right weekends for fall color. Last weekend of September they are in full color near the bridge, maybe as far south as Traverse City, but usually it takes another one to two weeks to make it down to the Saginaw area.

Sounds like October should work out fine. Hopefully it wont get too cold by then.

Now can we make the trip in a day or split it up over a weekend? Any ideas?

I'd be down as long as my car isnt down for work..
I like august better because Ill be out of school then but sounds like you guys are thinking October so hopefully I could make it then. Ill be looking for set dates when you have them up or maybe you should do a poll to see when the most people can make it?
