  • 2011 Camaro Superfest Judge Recruiting Thread

    Hello everybody,

Sorry I have been absent the past few weeks. I was pleasantly promoted to full time at work and have been very busy. However I would like to get the ball rolling on preparations for the 2011 Camaro Superfest!!!

We had a lot of fun last year and I have a number of folks who have requested to continue on this year as judges however we are in need of several more with the additions made to this years superfest itinerary and line up.

Judging will run from 9-4 on Saturday and 9 AM to noon on Sunday.

Please post or feel free to PM me or call me for more info. If you are interested in joining the 2011 team you must be available both days of judging also please if you choose to judge you can not enter your vehicle into the event judging.

Please remember, this is a PAID once in a lifetime opportunity and also a great way to enjoy the 4th of July weekend.

So please speak up and ask questions. If I do not respond, I am sure some of previous CSF judges can chime in to answer your questions.

Here is a link to the official event info and the CSF home page...

I'm still up for it. I'd like to judge 4th gens this year, and I think we need someone with plenty of expertise on 1st generation cars as there were many that were nearly perfect last year.

    Used to own a Firebird.

Hey Ben, you can count me in again as usual . . . and I'd be glad to judge 1st gens, I did them in 2007 and enjoyed it immensely . . . but the festival cars were fun last year too!

To anyone considering whether or not to do this . . . I have done this 3 times now and can personally attest that it is a LOT of fun. Plus, last year they let us come with them to MIS and drive the track! Not sure if that is happening again this year but if so, that alone is reason to do it IMHO.

You don't need experience, as long as we have a few "seasoned" judges we can partner them with newbies . . . as we always judge in pairs.

      Looking forward to it!

Good to have you both back Vinnie and Mike. I see no issue with either request. Wish granted!

I still See Vinnie on the list ..... He posted on monday in the CSF thread that he was now NOT going to be able to make it to the show to judge. so doesn't that mean you need 3 judges.

Ben, count me in. I have nothing planned that weekend, I'll let the boss know I'll need the time off. It'll give me a chance to bring the new bike out for a longer ride.
