I am game. When and where? It might be good to find out where the greatest concentration of interest is and try to get together in that area.

It looks like the Westside guys are showing the most responsiveness to this thread. I would not mind making the cruise back west again soon. I will leave the thread up for another couple of days and then either make a decision or put it to a vote.

I know I will be at the 28th St. Cruise for sure regardless of the show. However, that cruise is so big! I think I would like to see a club meeting at a smaller show and also have a cruise to a restaurant and to a go kart or putt-putt place to finish off the night.

Sorry 81daytonapacecar made it sound like there was another side of the story... what's the hostility about??? Also what's the clubs goal/objectives blah blah blah I am very interested and would join if everyone is positive about it but if everyone has sour feelings from last time then it would be a maybe...

lol no hostility here at all, everyone gets my words misunderstood online!! lol, just couldn't figure out why you had to ask twice after being answered already. The club has literally been dead so far, just haven't really gotten it off the ground with events and such yet, we were going to do official membership and such and eventually start doing yearly dues to help pay for some club events/decals. Problem is there hasn't been any events or decals, so we never bothered to start charging. Some ideas that could be talked about are fall color tour MIFC cruises, sponsoring different events as a club, maybe dyno days? I think the big reason I never really urged the club more is because everything I want in a car club.. i get via MI-Fbody. Kinda defeats the purpose of having a strict firebird club right now, especially if there isn't unique events set up through the club.

Don't get me wrong MiF-Body is a great and very wonderful site but for me I would love to be able to do charity things with my car like the Adam Schaufer Memorial Car Show (hope I spelled that right) to me 2 m&g a year isn't enough...I would like to have 4...2 with mifbody and 2 piggyback showing support for special needs kids...it was awesome seeing 15-20 camaros showing support...would love to see this but with birds instead...

No hard feelings on that comment - but the Adam Schafer show was for all vehicles - not Camaros only, it was just that it was the Western Michigan Camaro Club that was going to it as a group. That said - if anyone finds any memorial shows in their area, I'd definitely welcome people posting it up and getting members from the site to join in.

That's what I meant by piggybacking...starting out with small shows and eventually one day we will have our own show when it gets big enough!!!

                                One quick Correction Derek...

We do have decals. I just have not figured out how to effectively distribute them. I forgot to bring them to the meet and greet but if we can get a meeting together I will definitely have them then. The were done by a local decal place called Sign Language. I paid about $150 for them to be cut and they look great. I have silver, pewter, red, candy red, white, green, and teal. I'll have to get some pics up tomorrow with my phone.

We also have club T-shirts too!

Heck we've even got our own banners and signs. Just had a new one made with decals.

I was even looking at getting some lanyards or key chains made too.

                                Dash Plaques... maybe

I really wanted to do some folding chairs...

We had a website and all. I actually have Jen working on a new one but she is not as expirienced as most.
