Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!

Planning on bringing the Formula out, as long as it's not too bad. Weather.com predicts sub-40* weather and snow showers for next Friday, but it's still too far off to tell. I made myself a promise that I wouldn't destroy my Formula any more by driving it when there is salt on the roads, so if they lay salt down at all this week, it's being parked and it's not moving until after the second rainfall of Spring.
It's already rusting at the quarter panels and there are a couple of pinholes in the wheelwells. That's just going to trap the salt in the rust holes and start rusting it out from the inside. That will all be fixed before it hits the roads next Spring, but until then, I'm not risking it.
We could meet in Lansing as it's the most centrally located.
We could then tour the R.E. OLDS museum http://www.reoldsmuseum.org/index.htm for something interesting to do. I called and they are open Saturdays from 10am to 5pm, but would like to know when/how many are coming so they can plan for us. I would be leaning towards either Nov 15th or 22nd. The cost would $3 per person for the tour as long as we had 15 or more people.
From there we could go get a bite to eat somewhere?? or ???
Let me know what you think???
Mark- This is what I mentioned doing in the 6th post of this thread, just after that, Ben agreed it would be a good idea.
We will be touring the Olds Museum and then getting a bite to eat somewhere. That "somewhere" has not been determined yet, but Ben has a few places he is researching.
A time of arrival at the museum has not yet been determined either, but I'm guessing it will be sometime late morning. That way where ever we eat it should be lunch prices. ($6-$8 for a Hamburger or ??)
If we get at least 15 of us to attend then the admission to the museum is only $3. Hope this helps answers some of your questions!!

Thanks. I seen that back when this thread was first started but nothing confirmed yet so I just wanted to know. My wife, daughter, and I will probably be coming. Not sure since I just got a new job and I have to pay for my background check and get some new clothes.
Whichever date wins the vote by Thursday should be the date we use. This will give us time to make the proper arrangements for the Museum folks, as well as setting up reservations at a restaurant......................
We need to get the basics nailed down first. ...................................
so we can get everything nailed down by Thursday...........................
Thursday afternoon, I will close the poll and make the proper arrangements with the museum. We are on a short deadline here, so lets get everything finalized so we don't have to worry about it the day of the meeting, it would be better if we could all just have fun!
Don't mean to sound like an a**, but where are we at with this????????
Everything should be set for the 22nd. I was not sure what time would be best so I made our reservation at the Olds museum at around 3:00 and at the restaurant at about 5. The museum should not take too long to go through. I would suggest we all meet up at the museum at around 3:00PM and go from there.
