MIFC Event - 28th Street Metro Cruise

Ok, the 28th Street Metro Cruise is almost upon us (August 23, 2008).

I would like to get something more organized than last year for this event. I was thinking a Pot Luck grill for MIFC members.

What does everyone think?

To do this we will need:

1. Ben to verify with the owners of the parking lot across from berger that we can use there lot again for the 28th Street Metro Cruise.
2. We need someone that is willing to bring a grill and man it for the day (maybe in shifts)
3. I will bring my 10x10 tent to be set up
4. If there is a member with some traffic cones that could be used to block off spaces for member parking that would be great.
5. We may need a small outdoor table to set the food up on.

I think I will get a bunch of membership forms printed up also, for those that want to joint the MIFC.

Dave sounds like a good idea........Unfortunately, I plan on being at the Berger show with the truck. I could man the BBQ for a while if somebody needs a break?? Keep us posted!!

I just called and left a message. Hopefully Julie at the Chamber of Commerce calls me back tomorrow. This was a great event last year. Hopefully we get as good or better a turnout as last year. I will most likely be cruising over in the Exploder but at least I should be able to make it.
