(Please be aware that this Thread is for Michigan Firebird Club Staff ONLY.)

Ok, it is we need to determine what classification we are going to use for the Michigan Firebird Club - Bird of the Month for the month of April.

Some of the categories that I was thinking about were:
    2nd Gens
    3rd Gens
    Pace Cars
12 sec or less 1/4 mile

Once we can agree upon a class then we can look for submissions and votes.

    Thank You,
    -David

For the Pace car there's only like 2 which is Jeff's right? Kinda not a fair game there really. I'm alright with a 2nd or 3rd gen class. I'm not sure on how many 12 sec. cars we have.

        I know Jeff has 2 (2nd & 3rd Gen) and ICEPICK has 1 (2nd Gen).

Whichever class we choose we will need to limit it down to 3 choices for voting.

I am leaning towards 2nd Gen or 3rd Gen myself. We will see what the rest of the staff thinks. So far we have 3x votes for 2nd Gen and 2x votes for 3rd Gen.

Ya I agree narrow it down to 3 cars to vote on. But if there's only 3 cars to begin with just kinda blah to me. If there was more pace cars I'd be all for a pace car ROTM.

So far we have 3x votes for 2nd Gen and 4x votes for 3rd Gen.

I will PM the staff that has not put there votes in, directing them to this thread.

I will give the category selection for April until Tomorrow evening before we start nominations.

I think second gen but in the future we should just do january- 1st gen february- 2nd gen etc etc, then after the 4 generations do classifications such as pace cars, special edition cars, projects, v6, v8, i dunno things like that?

I'd like to do it differently. Just about every site does the rotm similar to that.

                      So far we have:
                      4x votes for 2nd Gen.
                      4x votes for 3rd Gen.

Wow, we are going to need Nick to get in here to break the tie.

I have a list of 8 people that own 2nd Gens in Michigan that have logged into MIFbody in the last 60 days.

I have a list of 30 people that own 3rd Gens in Michigan that have logged into MIFbody in the last 60 days.

It would be nice to start working on getting 1st and 2nd Gen owners into the club. I tend to feel that people that own 1st and 2nd Gens are extremely loyal to the brand. I think if we could get some in as BOTM it may help th get them in the club which would make a strong club base.

Sorry to Butt in here But I'm a little confused. Just being on F-body and owning a Bird makes you eligable? I would think you would what to limit this to Paying MIFC Memebers otherwise what is the incentive to join, if they can do everything and get everything without paying dues? You really need to get a member rooster together of your current members.

Sorry Just trying to give a little experienced advice.

Yeah, I here you. I would love to have it that way but so far nobody has joined. I haven't even seen registration forms from the staff. Unless they US-mailed them into Ben directly.

Your right Gary, maybe we should take a step back here and focus in needing to be registered. If nothing else maybe we should have the Staff only as nominees until we can get some more members.

What does the rest of the staff think.

I think that would be Best. It will limit your choices. You could always just call it Featured Member of the month then.
