  • MIFC Bird of the Month

As per our Club Newsletter Editor, we need to set up a ride of the month system for our newsletter and website. Any recommendations? A separate thread will be made for voting...

  • #2
Since I am not sure if you are looking for recommendations to start the process or nominations I will give my process recommendation at this time.

I think that as Firebird Club Members if you would like to have your Bird considered for ROTM then they should send an email to the Newsletter email address with a few photos and the reason why they think there Bird should be featured.

From the pool of self nominations I think Firebird Club staff should determine a monthly theme just like the MiFbody Admin/Mods make a monthly category.

Once we have selected a few Rides for that Month we can post a voting thread.

I do not mind organizing the MIFC ROTM stuff if needed. But if a member is voted ROTM we will need for them to write up a page about there car using a similar format to what was found in the March newsletter.

Your idea seems fair to me David. Anyone have any other suggestions to voice?

The website is up at www.mifirebird.com already.

But the final rendition will be going up very soon. In fact I have already reviewed the final version and both Jen and I approve. Once this is done the site will be functional, yet still simple. As time goes on and we can recruit a permanent web guy to take over we can add other features like forums, a site store, etc...

We have on order club window decals, and are working on some other very exciting projects and merchandise for this season.

But the registration forms are completed and ready, the ride of the month set up will be done soon, the 1st official newsletter went out this month and much much more.

                      P.S.

I WANT EVERYONE TO KNOW HOW MUCH DAVID (CHMLEON) HAS CONTRIBUTED TO THIS PROJECT. THIS THING WOULD NOT HAVE COME TOGETHER WITHOUT HIM! GREAT JOB DAVE AND PLEASE KEEP UP THE PHENOMENAL WORK!
