MIFC - Newsletter Assistance, Please.

Hello Everyone,
As newsletter editor I am dedicated to bring the best newsletter content to this club as a whole. As part of this goal I will need assistance from everyone.- In order to fill Page 4 when we do not have club meeting minutes, for a particular issue, I would like to have product reviews in it’s place. I know we have purchased products that did not live up to our expectations or products that we tried and now we can’t live without them. We want to know how you feel about that product. Write up a review of that product and your review may be featured in a future issue.
- We are now taking Ride of the Month submissions. If you would like your car to be featured as a Member Ride, please submit you vehicle information in a similar format as the current Featured Member Ride on Page 5.
- If you have a Firebird Tech/How To Article that you would like to submit for the Firebird Club Monthly Newsletter it would be greatly appreciated. Your Firebird Tech/How To Article may be featured in a future issue.
Submissions are reviewed and will be credited to the people that author them.
Thank You,
David Farina

Sounds good Tom, I have setup an email address for the newsletter mifcnewsletter@gmail.com . Go ahead and email it there if you could.Originally posted by ITSSLOW View PostI can come up with one by Thursday. Want me to Email it or shoot you a PM.

We are also taking MIFC Member Rider of the Month submissions. All MIFC Member Rider of the Month submissions will be put up to vote by club staff. Currently I have no submissions for MIFC MROTM so I would say your chances are pretty good.

I would like to get the April Newsletter out by the first Saturday of each month.
That means that, as long as I get material submissions, I have less than 10 days to get the next issue ready.
I have not received any new product review submissions.
I still have not received any MIFC Member Rider of the Month submissions, which is shocking.
Without these I will not be able to get the next issue out and we may have to make this a bi-monthly publication.

Thanks for the suggestion Mark.Originally posted by SouLTeRRoR View PostHow does 1 apply for the ROTM? That might help get some input.
It looks like Ben just set up a thread for our MIFC Bird of the Month nominations.

Bellow I have attached exerts from March newsletter. Product Reviews should follow a similar information format.
The paragraphs do not have to be pre-formated. I will format the information as needed to fit the page.
Photos should be at least 640x480.
All submissions should be sent to mifcnewsletter@gmail.comLast edited by CHMLEON; March 26th, 2008, 12:10 PM.

I will submit a product review of Meguires Hot Wheels Cleaner Spray and maybe Mother's chrome polish later on. How long should the write up be?
Here are some pics (Don't mind the curb rash they were there when I got the car)...
Before:
This image has been resized. Click this bar to view the full image. The original image is sized 1024x768.

Preferably 3/4 of a page, including a retype of the information on the back of the bottle describing what the product says it does.Originally posted by phoenix_rising View PostI will submit a product review of Meguires Hot Wheels Cleaner Spray and maybe Mother's chrome polish later on. The 3 pictures you have there will work nicely. I you could add a caption for each pic that would be great.
The ending with a closing statement.
If we can get it pretty close to the article format as was in the March newsleter that would be great so that I can just add the article into the current page format that I have set.
Thanks Ben.
