        Update:

www.mifirebird.com is ours as of 12:40PM today. The Domain name should propagate within 72 hours. We should have the site up and running sometime this week.

We will be posting on the web site this week. All you have to do is fill out the application and email it back to me. The new application will include basic info about the following areas: Yourself, Your car, Your desired email address (If you want one), car photo(s) and descriptions, and so on.

Once the site is running, everyone who is looking to join the club can do so then and be 100% Legit members of the Michigan Firebird Club!

Up next once the site is finished is some club decals and shirts. If anyone knows any reputable decal manufacturers please let me know, as I have been trying to work with Brent Franker and others with no luck. I will be submitting an order for a small number of club tshirts. If you are interested in buying a tshirt keep an eye out for a tshirt order thread.

Thanks for your patience guys, it has been a mad house around here with the newish job, graduation, getting my car in order, and trying to learn all this web lingo. Wish us luck guys I just hope our Dreamweaver designed website will go up with minimal if any issues.

The last the club staff and I spoke we were going to waive the membership fee the first year. So yes will be free this year. As of 2009 we will institute a basic membership fee competitive with what you would expect.

But with membership in 2009 there will be complementary club tshirts and other paraphenalia, where as this year if you want a shirt or such you would have to pay for it. I am not sure, but we may be able to offer club decals this year but I need to do more research into the cost of them.

I will check into the forum add ons. I think we will be using Mifbody for a while yet, that is if we can ever figure out the whole forum thing on Yahoo.
