  • Need mechanic

My intake manifold gasket needs to be replaced. Can anyone recommend a good and fairly priced mechanic on the east side. I live in roseville. Also, Since that will be apart is there anything I can do to give me a little horse power boost.

I'm pretty sure thats not that tough of a job, so it shouldn't cost you too much in the end. But i've been looking for a mech shop around here too, it looks like im heading out to Sean's place "C.A.R.S."

If you want to go to a shop C.A.R.S seems to be the place to go, But I have a mechanic friend who works on my car and I bet he'd be willing to do it for you for a good price. Unfortunaly he doesnt work at the machine shop anymore so he cant port the intake for you while he has it off like he did mine. But I can talk to him for you if you want

I think you could do it yourself, it's not bad at all, just take your time and label everything, and sectioned trays are your best friend when taking stuff apart. Definatley save yourself some money do it yourself.

            mechanic

hey, i have a mechanic that has done my z28 when i had it, now he is doing a turbo kit and all the other mods i have talked about on my profile, he did my dads car as well, head and cam and NOS, plus suspension and other stuff. He does awesome work and is not too expensive. It is Shuler Racing, i recommend him to anyone in the roseville, fraser or Mt. Clemons area, he is located at 15 and 94, in the factory sub, he is by all the katech buildings. His name is Dan Shuler, his mechanic's name is Mike. I trusted him with two cars already. If you wanna call him it is 586-790-9200. Tell him Jeremy Cyprus recommended you. any questions feel free to ask. I trusted him with my BIG project, He is really cool to work with also, very leniant and knowledgeable.

just trying to help where i can, it makes putting a car back together go so much faster, especially when you have 300 different screws and all different sizes.
