Yep - i saw the barry and kudos to you folks for trying to put on the show for a reasonable price.

But - for me, Lodging/Food/Gas...etc. all adds up and commuting in each day would be unrealistic.

Regardless as I said i'm still considering it.

Bets of luck to you though.

By the way did you happen to see the question from one of our members about volunteers for this year?

        HELLO guys and gals.....

These are ALL out and the two registrations I just received in the mail go out this afternoon as well. Registrations are processed each day and responded to. We are at 112 registered Camaros from 10 states and Canada! This is just a tad ahead of last year at this time.

Some of the info I had posted on another item - has changed! This is mostly the plans for the dinner cruise on Friday evening. Yes, we are still have it, but we're doing a BBQ right at National Parts Depot!! Check out the details below...

Also, some of this posted info MAY change - primarily, the info about the gate being closed for the 4th of July parade. I have just received NEW info and it looks like the south entrance to the park will be available, so we have some thinking and planning to do on this yet.

        Here's the info...

CAMARO SUPERFEST 2009 SPECIAL IMPORTANT NEWS!!!!
CAMARO SUPERFEST 2009 has a slight "snag" to it this year! Seems when reserving the park for our event, we were not told that the annual Ypsilanti 4th of July Parade travels right past our front gate! Having talked with everyone possible and looking at all options, we believe the best course of action is to simply close the CSF gate while the parade is in our area. We estimate this to be from 11:30am-12:30pm. There is a second entrance to the park, but it too will/could be blocked with traffic. We can use it as an emergency exit if needed. Thus, we are asking ALL participants to arrive before 11:15am or wait until after 12:30pm. In the meantime… if you want, walk to the park entrance and enjoy the parade!

        CAMARO SUPERFEST 2009 EVENT SITE
CAMARO SUPERFEST 2009 has returned to Riverside Park in the Depot Town section of Ypsilanti, Michigan. This is located only 2.5 miles from the HQ hotel. We have secured the entire park and we think once you get there, you’ll agree, we've got a great site for our event! We’ll have plenty of parking for trucks and trailers and lots of space for vendors! Shade canopies are welcome, just make sure you secure them to the ground! And as usual, there is a STRICT policy of NO ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES in the park at any time! If caught, you will be expelled and no refunds issued. Let’s be safe and have fun! Also, please no pets.

        CAMARO SUPERFEST 2009 CHARITY

Again, this year we have decided to assist others while we are having fun with our favorite cars! This year we have a new charity for our event - National Kidney Foundation of Michigan! We will have a silent auction on each day for this great cause. We will again raffle off our Camaro SuperFest #1 and #2 diecast Camaros (out of 75). We will also have several 50-50 raffles through-out the weekend. We simply ask for your support!

CAMARO SUPERFEST 2009 SATURDAY NIGHT DRIVE-IN MOVIE!!!

The HQ hotel will be setting up a concession stand, if you don’t have your own snacks and drinks. So sit back, relax and enjoy the show!

          WAIT... there's more.....

Here's out final event t-shirt design, front & back....

ALSO... we will have another CSF diecast car at the event... it will be the 2007 concept Camaro in orange. These will sell for $59.95 and can be ordered in advance from Super Toy Cars (steve@supertoycars.com) There will only be 75 made and cars #1 and 2 will be raffled off for our charity - the National Kidney Foundation of Michigan. And speaking of our charity - they will be onsite with a car raffle of their own - a very nice Mustang! (yea, yea... but it IS for charity!!)

And as usual... our great plaque awards will be very similar to the t-shirt design....
