The cost would be insane, helmet, rollbar, fire system, safety inspection. Tire failures at 150+ look bad enough in Nascar, your car would not hold up well.8-O

Sweet! I was at MIS back in 2003. That was REALLY cool! I just gotta figure out if I will be in town as I am usually travelling the weekend of this show. Last time I made it was 2003.

                              I'd go if I had a [working] Camaro - which I don't.

Hey TsTone... just in case you haven't checked it out... our entry fee's for this year's CSF have been reduced as low as we can go... in an effort to allow as many to attend as possible. We realize teh economy is crappy, and set these entry fee goals from the start.

Enter a Camaro in the show- before June 15 = $15, after $20
Take your Camaro to MIS = $10 (must be registered in teh event to go...)

So if you send in a pre-registration right now and for the next month, it's only $25!! Or $30 at the door....

Granted... if you want to stay at the HQ hotel... that is $99/109 per night, depending if you want to chance a non-refundable night. Depending on gas prices and where you live, it may be cheaper to "commute" to the event each day from home. Even I will admit, I'm probably not staying at the hotel this year... granted I only live 20 minutes away.

We sincerely hope this is affordable to as many as possible....

And BTW... don't remember if it was mentioned earlier in this post... we had to charge the $10 for MIS this year, as MIS is requiring a Safety Crew be there when we are. The cost for that crew exceeded what we believed it would be and it will take 200 Camaros to break even on this activity! We're actually not in bad shape... Pedder's Suspensions has just renewed as a event co-sposnor, which will help in these expenses!

Hope that between now and CSF, you will find a way to be able to attend!
