From the thread on ChirpThird, they are narrowing down between two hotels right now for the "official" hotel.

Don't know where that came from, it has always been just the Marriott.
Met with them yesterday, but the lady we were suppose to meet with was out sick. We met with someone else and they were going to take the info to their next meeting which is suppose to be this morning.

The cost for WCC was @$2000.00 so that is out.

Were there any costs involved for the WCC parking lot? I personally always loved the layout of that parking lot. While the Riverside park was more scenic, if it's going to be at a parking lot, that WCC parking lot was pretty nice. Plus, admittedly parking by the trees last year sucked with all that dew falling on our cars.

If I can get vacation that week I will be up there. Most likely flying up so I wont have a car. But I could help out...

We are meeting tomorrow at the Hotel to see if we can pull it off in the parking lot. This would help reduce costs.

Update....sorta...

We are still researching ways to pull this off. We think the volunteers will come if it is announced we are doing the show.
THE main stumbling block at this time is finances, how to cut the budget and what number of cars to budget for.
Hopefully we will have a FINAL answer sometime this coming week.
