Well, as some of you know I recently acquired a new DD; so up for sale is my 1992 Dodge Stealth R/T.
It is in very good condition with 78,xxx original miles. It has a few minor cosmetic issues, the worst being a gouge in the front fender (plastic) that is a couple of inches long; the others are all stone chips and the like. The interior is very clean. The leather is starting to show its age but there are no rips or tears. Overall very minimal issues for its age; no rust anywhere, engine runs fine, no problems otherwise. It's been garage kept its whole life, although it was my DD for 3 years.
It's fun to drive; plenty of power for a V-6; but its best property is its handling; this car sticks to the curves.
At the moment I have no pics, but I will remedy this issue in the next couple of days. I thought I had some, but can't find them. So sorry and I will add them ASAP. Here's a description for now:
- Bright red exterior, tan leather interior, with factory spoiler
- 1992 was the "early" Stealth body style with the flip-up headlights
- 3.0L DOHC 24V V-6, rated at 219 hp (it's not a twin turbo model)
- 5-speed manual transmission
- Front-wheel drive; handles fine in snow
- All power options including automatic climate control
- Premium factory sound system with both CD player and cassette
- New tires in June 2009 (10 months old); Dunlop Signature Sport all-weather tires
- Completely rebuilt the suspension in January with factory struts ($1200!) including a 4-wheel alignment
- New serpentine belts (it has 2) at the same time as the suspension
- It does need new brakes, but I will do them before I sell it; I will not sell a car without good brakes
- Clean title with no liens
