    The method is the same as a 4th gen but you might wanna look over on TGO to find the exact cutting specs... Like the measurements, I have seen it done on a thirdgen before and I know many guys over on TGO have done it I am sure there is a great write up thread over there. Prolly only a couple hour job.

    I'm not sure if the 3rd gen trap door method is the same as the 4th gen trap door method. You basically just take a cutting wheel to your floor pan right above the gas tank and cut a square out just the right size to get the fuel pump out.

    Its in the gas tank, so you either need to drop the tank to get to it or do a trap door method. Which involves cutting a hole in the car... Your choice either one is not very hard at all.

    i found a car that needs a new fuel pump but looks clean and seems like a good deal. i would mind peoples opions on it
