Hey All,
ok.. so I've been with my girlfriend for awhile now.. and I am at the point in our relationship where I am gathering my funds to buy her a ring (I haven't done so yet, probably in December).. we've talked about this already.. just nothing really solid.. she already knows it coming.. heck she already has most of the wedding planned.. even a date set lol.. annnnyyyways.. I was hoping to be able to have my Camaro at the wedding, something we can drive away in.. but currently.. it is in a state that would be embarrassing.. The way things are looking is if I propose here soon (which I plan on doing).. we will probably get married sometime in January of 2014.. that's like 15 months away
So my intentions are not to have a completely finished car.. but to have something that I could drive to my wedding.. that she wouldn't be embarrassed to get into.. and that it would all be one color haha.. so lemme list what I think need to get done.. and see if there is anyone on here who might be willing to help me get this project accomplished.
Exterior:
-Dent on rear quarter panel needs fixed
-Front Passenger Fender is dented, probably needs replaced, ill get pics and see what you guys think.
-Driver side door sags, need help getting it fixed
-Entire car needs painted
Interior
-I have old worn out baby blue interior trim, if anyone has any ideas where I can slowly acquire black trim pieces that are in good shape...
-Interior is not the biggest concern.. I have a set of leather 4th gen seats now.. and new carpet.. its the plastic that is junk
Mechanical
-My 700r4 Trans is acting goofy I'm pretty sure it needs work or just replaced haha
-I need someone to help me tune my carb/distributor setup
There will probably be more than needs to be addressed before that point.. but the big parts would be getting it painted and getting my interior to not look like total crap.. any help would be appreciated.. I'll keep this thread updated as I progress on it.. I will getting started on it here soon.
