    LOL, not much of a beast.. I'm not planning on making any real hard runs(just got it back after 11 months, hate to break the rear and park it already).. We'll see how the track is, if it seems to be hooking I'll make one balls out run just to see what it will run on an old tune.. I have a Chrome moly 8 point Roll bar.... What time U going to be there? I should be there by 10..

    My thoughts as well... Again, I am in no big hurry to get all this done.. Nothing wrong with collecting parts.. Just looking for info... Trust me, I know I am on borrowed time with my 10 bolt and it should be replaced first, before motor work. I'll get a plan together at some point, until then I am collecting..

    Edit: And Jeff is correct, I have no desire to change torque converters.. This one works fine for me..

    he drives it too much and its not a race car. no reason to put a 240 in it. think he would be much happier with something smaller

    No sense in throwing more power at it when you can knock off ET buy fine tuning the car. Thats why mine doesn't have a bottle, I wanna go as fast as I can on motor before then.

    Larry had recommended a 230/236 .595/.603 112LSA.. I agree with the heads and cam I should see 11's easily.. Just not sure if I'll get it done this winter, or next.. Depends how much I can save by winter.. Want to change springs and have the heads ported as well.. Then I have to seriously save for a 9"!!!!!
