Ok Ive got a 2000 3.8 v6 which the body is trashed but drive train is good and I am looking at getting a 96 firebird 3.8 v6 and the trans is junk looking at since the price is right, the parts interchange shows for the trans 96-97 and 98-02.. Does any one know the difference in the Transmission i thought they all had a 4l60e trans. If its a sensor thing can they be swapped to fit the older model?
