Or welcome back, perhaps. First off I wouldlike to thank you for your interest in the Michigan Firebird Club! While still small, we have a lot of exciting plans and ideas for next season, and we need your participation in order to make this club a success, and no longer just a “judging club” that appears only once per year.
So what do we need from you? For starters, just an acknowledgement that you want to be involved in our club activities, some basic contact information, and some input on meets/greets/shows/ etc you would like to see our club involved in! I want this to be YOUR club just as much as its mine, we want to tailor its activities to the members. So lets get started! Just answer the following questions and forward it back to me either via PM on Mifbody.com, or to my personal E-mail address, seaman_sprang@yahoo.com
I will be creating or gaining control over the email address, facebook page, and forum over the next week or so, and getting them updated with club info. Thank you for your support!

Here is a short list of the current events we plan to attend next year as a club. Please indicate the ones you would be interested in attending so we can gauge interest and participation. We understand life happens, so we will not consider these hard commitments.
MIFC Spring Meet and Greet BBQ: Mid April, TBD, MI *
Mifbody spring Meet and Greet: Early June, Bakers of Milford, MI
Camarofest : 4th of July weekend, Depot Town, Ypsilanti MI**
Back to the Bricks: Early August,Flint MI
Ames Performance Tri-Power Nationals: Mid August, Summit Raceway Park, Norwalk Ohio\
Woodward Dream Cruise: Third weekend in August, Woodward ave, MI
NEOCC Fall Classic: Early September, Summit Racing, Akron, Ohio**
James Dean Festival: Late September, Fairmount, Indiana
MIFC Pumpkin Classic: TBD, MI early October:
… And any others you may be interested in!
*We are planning our meet and greet for a couple of weekends BEFORE the Mifbody meet and greet in part to plan club activities for the year, as well as make arangements to meet up at the Mifbody meet and greet and to arrange a caravan to the event. My intention is to provide T-shirts, car decals, and hopefully small flags so we can really make an entrance! This will be a BBQ, cars and families will be welcome!
**These two events are judging events. We supply ten judges for Camarofest, and 4-6 judges for the NEOCC Fall Classic. Our judges are paid $100 for their services, as well as receiving several perks such as goodie bags, free food, hotel rooms (NEOCC), and we get to get up close and personal with all of the cars, and owners, involved! These events are a great time, and we all have a lot of fun doing them. Contact me for more info if you wish to participate in these events.
