This is one 5th gen that may actually gain value in 30 years.

It may be file photo's of the SS Hurst V8, because they make it sound like a remote STS sytle rear turbo for the V6?

Id take a used ZO6 or a new SS with a twin turbo set up and a good clutch, lol. HEY, for $50,000 YOU can have as much horse power as a stock $30,000 SS. Yeah, it even sounds retarded when I say it out loud, lol. Eric L

1997 Camaro SS #2819 M6, Red, 3.42, 1 of 27, Ttops, BBK shorty headers, Flowmaster cat back, 1.6 rr, LT4 valve springs, ASAM CAI, Centerforce clutch, runs 12s, breaks 10 bolts.

Note that plenty starts with the same letter as : puzzy, pansy, poser, and puch, lol. Probably just a coincidence, lol. Just bustin your balls Nate, lol. Honestly, if I had $50,000 to play with, you could shove a new car up someones ying yang. Ill take a used 4th gen, completely cleaned up and restored body, interior and rubber detail wise. Than add a mild twin turbo, low boost LS1 like Sean is doing, only with more cubes and forgedness (like Sean WILL be doing, lol) backed by a 4L80 (cause I like playing on the street while drinking my cup of Speedway coffee, and I keep spilling it with my 6 speed) and a dana 60 rear end. Sprinkle in some random lowering springs and some other suspension goodies, and you have an awsome supercar for half the price. I say win. Thats what I would do.............................................yep , yep,.........................................yeaaa aap, thats what I would do, lol. Eric L

cool idea but definately too much money

I would bet it is the STS system, I think they are the only ones who have come up with a turbo for the v6 so far. it runs 6-7k. so buy a cheap 22k v6 camaro + 6k turbo = fast car with better handling and less weight than an ss and better fuel economy for 28k with significantly lower insurance.

                        maybe ive been planning something?

After being in my friends C6 Z06 cam'd to hell I dont think I would want one with that large of a cam. Maybe I am getting....old.

I agree, a 4th gen with 20K put into would be a BA car.

BPM WS6 with black cage, T56, Torquer cam, spec 2 clutch, 3:73, GMMG, Tint all around, and TTII's would fit the bill for me

Oh, and I think you guys are missing the point of this car: its rare. Only 50 fill be made and its more than a sticker kit. They are going after Hurst Collectors exclusivly. Anyone that buys one of these and actually drives it it a freeking douche canoe. This is simply an excercise in engineering and marketing.

I know sean, I know, lol. Im just saying, after a couple of years. Your going to turn up the boost, turn it up more, add better heads, turn it up more, and than see the need for better pistons and rods. Thats why the comment about the forged internals. Simmer down feller, simmer down. Eric L
