You should just be able to weld the cutout in there...

The bends are for the exhaust swap were doing, not the cutout.

Hey Larry I wouldn't be surprised if you went to the shop tomorrow and noticed that you y-pipe is gone Once my motor is all back in and settled that'll be my next project.
