  • Sman's v6 pullout pics!

We (a buddy and I) got started around noon yesterday, and after several interruptions (breaking tools, eating, snow removal) we got it down to the k member bolts at around 11, I got the first 2 off and broke the 3rd. I picked up around 3 today and finished around 4. Grabbed my dads impact gun and buzzed off the other 3 k member bolts and brought the car up(scary) and rolled the motor out.

    My help...

    Parts pile growing

    Easiest y pipe removal ever....

Starting to get kinda roomy in there...

Scariest freaking moment EVER working on a car!

    Its out!!!!

The big empty (there really is alot of room in here)

    TADA!

Not to bad I suppose, I had help yesterday, but was on my own today for the "fun" part. I called grandma in from the house to take the picture, that was all the help I got today, lol.

    What do y'all think?!?

Surprised you yanked it before selling the 6 - a nice selling point would have been being able to show people that the 6 still ran and to be able to hear it run.

Woulda, coulda, shoulda, but didnt. I thought about it actually, but in realisticially, what are the odds of selling that right now? I wanted to have the car ready for the M&G. And I have alot of work to do, I dont have it quite as easy as you do unfortunetly

Other than the motor I have zero parts for the project.
