Slotted/Drilled Rotors are on

Well I put on my slotted/drilled rotors this weekend along with some ceramic brake pads. Man they look sharp. I love them, except for the 200 mile break in period. The install was really straight forward and easy. I had a little problem with the front caliper pistons not compressing, but I just had to get a bigger c-clamp and they went right in. Here is before and after pics.




Sorry about the lighting in the after pic, it was dark outside so the shop isn't light up as nice, but you can see the difference.

Roto-Tech rotors with Raybestos ceramic pads. Tires are Hankook Ventus 102.

you'll want better pads the raybestos ones have a tendancy to come apart and tear up the rotors 10 shops are now suing them for the defects (one place a friend of mine works at had every set they installed fail from one batch) just a heads up

yea I know, my dad owns a mechanic shop, these are a new special kind just out on the market. Supposedly they are improved to fix that problem, we will see. I can always get another pair whenever in case they do.
