hes got all the recipts and i think the dyno slip for it still... the rear only has a 2.73 or something in it now but its a 12 bolt factory and takes the abuse... he also has a spare axel with 3.73 gears in it... custom exhaust into flow masters that dump right at the axels sounds mean as hell... i wouldnt mind taking it but the wife wont let me have another toy and i dont want the transmission just the spare motor...lolOriginally posted by Frank The TankTook the restrictor plate off to give the Red Dragon a little more juice. he built the car 2 years ago was in a garage then got forclosed on, so he couldnt get to it till just recently... now hes getting married really doesnt have the time and money to finnish it. he has all the recipts and the dyno slip still he said... the transmission is brand new jegs reverese valve body 350 turbo 850hp with a 3500 stall converter.. right now it just has an old B&M ratchet shifter on it because it works eaither way you want to mount it... no vacume controll on the trans so you do have to manually shift it.. race trans...
the engine is a 4 bolt main flat tappet with fuelie heads on it PNP by a local nascar tech it has no flow problems i can tell ya that.. running a 750 edelbrock jetted to match motor
he said he did toss the 3.73 rear end in it and has the 2.7? rear end still if you want it with the car. has 245.60.15 tires all around a custom dual flomaster 3 inch exhaust dumps right before the axel.. for the price just hte motor and trans are a steal to get it..
to finnish the car it needs one rear brake cylinder, brake lines ran to the rear, radiator...which a buddy is using can probably get it back or replaced when purchased, wires, power stearing pump put on it. has 2 in the car my old one which was new used 3 months and the one he had with it. and probably have to tweak in the shifter, the interior is pretty clean headliner what little one there is needs to be replaced but he has the material for it.. besides that it will fire right up with plugs and a radiator we already ran new gas changed the oil cleaned it up sence we got it back...
he said he would split it up motor 1500 trans 1500 do whatever with the body.Last edited by wezeles; June 19th, 2006, 02:57 PM.Originally posted by Frank The TankTook the restrictor plate off to give the Red Dragon a little more juice. But it's not exactly street legal, so keep it on the down low.

here are a few more pics ... the car is now at my place so if anyone wants to look at it just im me... maybe ill go grab my plugs and radiator for it.. things fun to watch on jackstands lol hole body shakes back and forth and when you rev it it tries to jump off... scarry but fun..lol... not the best looking car but its got some kinda frame under it and if i got it i would just strip it emptie leave a couple seats in it and take it to the track...Last edited by wezeles; June 19th, 2006, 03:57 PM.Originally posted by Frank The TankTook the restrictor plate off to give the Red Dragon a little more juice. its pretty nuts i wish it had rear brakes take it out for a drive..lol just spins in circles with the front ones... cant really take it to the street that way... but for a flat tappet motor with just factory iron heads pnp... i couldnt believe how mean it is.. someone spent there time researching every part when they put it together and got every thing they could outta it and still keep it streetable.
the guy that did the heads is insane he was a nascar mechanic for like 20 years or something lives out here now... im planning on taking a few sets of heads to him soon... he got some old iron 76cc heads flowing as well as the 195 AFR heads on the bench flow for 450 bucks... he knows his crap i should hang out with him more often... cool old race storiesOriginally posted by Frank The TankTook the restrictor plate off to give the Red Dragon a little more juice.
