Hey Brian is that open at the top that allows the flter breathe better? I have an open air element on my car but its covered at the top, wonder if that would make or create better air flow. It kinda looks like a chrome version of what sean had on his car.

Yes the lid also allows air to flow through it. I am not sure how much/if it makes a difference with air flow. I would think it would help but it would be minimal. I wasgoing to use it on my car but I might use or snorkel style or a chrome lid.
