I heard once that the hook ups for the 99 Monsoon was different than the 2001 & 2002 ones. Is that true? If not I'd be interested in buying this off you. Mine still has a Monsoon tape deck

OMG wow, did they bone you, an 01 ss with a tape deck? Hell, mines just a Z28. Not gloating, that just royally sucks. I'll see what I can find out.

I don't have money for anything! LOL. I just don't want to spend money on something just to replace it with something else. I will eventually like to have a CarPC. Until then my Monsoon with the goofy display will work. I build computers so a CarPC wont be as expensive as buying it outright. I'm just dreaming for now. Thank you though.

Let me ponder it for a day or so...I still have to remove it. It does me no good as I do not use it, since there is a aftermarket CD player installed.
