  • WMCC monthly Club meeting today

Well, we had a pretty nice turnout for our March Camaro Club meeting today. We had 37 people gather at the Sam's Joint Restaurant at Gun Lake. Several members had their Camaros out of storage, and drove them to the meeting. They looked great sitting in the parking lot mixed with all of our Chevy trucks!

We talked about the up coming car season and made plans to attend several shows, including the Grand Valley State University Car show on April 8, and the 2nd Annual MiFbody.com Meet & Greet Spring Kickoff on May 13.

We stuffed, addresses and stamped envelopes with Camaro Superfest fliers going out to over 1,000 CSF past participants. It's amazing how fast this can get done with so many people helping out!

Several members will be going on the Hot Rod Magazine Power Tour again this year. Did everyone see the photo of several WMCC Camaros in the April issue of GM High Tech Performance magazine? It a story on last year's Hot Rod Power Tour starting on page 72. All those red Camaros are WMCC members. (Hey, how did that black Firebird sneek in there? )

We also had our 2nd Annual Camaro diecast and collectible show. Several members showed off their Camaro diecast cars. Pretty cool!

We encouraged more of our members to get involved with MiFbody.com, so look forward to more WMCC members to show up here soon. We're looking forward to meeting many of you this year.

It looks like the 2006 car season is off to a nice start.

    See you all soon!
RIP Doug,You will always be remembered

Hi Doug. Thanks for helping us out. Let us know when we can return the favor. Is there any way I can get on the mailing list for Camaro Superfest. It sounds amazing! Thanks.

Much appreciated, Doug! I'm tentatively planning to make it out to GVSU's car show too, just need to finish my interior ASAP. And hearing that you guys will be coming out to our Spring Meet, well that's just sweet news!
