The one on a 3rd gen it goes on the Intake i think or the TB

they bolt on to the passenger side cylinder head facing the front of the car.

yup, like the others said, the head plate goes on your passenger head on the front. 98-2000 ls1 cars would need to remove their EGR for these to work.
