hrm thats very interesting, ive been considering putting an ls1 in my car, and have heard of people putting big blocks in the 4th gens, what kinda trany would bolt up to this beast? and would there be anyway of putting efi or throttle body ontop of it instead of a carb? thanks 900$ is cheap, If it bolts in Im in,

I'll have to see if anyone wants it around here. Ive got too many projects for myself right now to add another one to the table

You could almost bolt any trans to it with the right adapter plates these days. Theres so many options, The easiest way is prolly just bolting on a Th400 and fabbing up a crossmember or even just buying a spohn torque arm to fit with that setup.

Do you know what the year the block is from? Do you know which heads are on it? Is the oil pan for a car or a truck?

The block is a 78 or 79 2 bolt main - the heads are oval port. 246 duration @50 cam on both sides- 560in 570exh lift.

It has a truck pan - this pan will fit a 70-81 F car - I had it in my 74 T/A.

will trade for LT-1 engine set up (eng, harness, ecm)
