Hey Brent, we were hoping to have it running by now but we had to quickly get it ready for the next paint process (quarters, shut faces and roof). So, unfortunately we'll have to wait a little longer to hear sounds come from the thing...
Thanks, and yea we are rather fired up about this thing and how it's turning out soo far.

Well today we loaded the "hulk" onto a trailer and delivered it to "the painter." This looks like a pile of crap that should be taken to a junk yard compared to how it looked a few days ago. I wanted to cover it up leaving the driveway so the neighbors didn't think that we are running a "chop shop."

We swapped the door for the body from "the painter" and it looks pretty good prior to sand and polish.

Jon-man, I have a third son but you can be my fourth if you get over here and start doin' some sanding. My arms, hands and fingers are ready to fall off sanding this damn hood.

Now, son #2 had to go to work after he got rid of the GTO moniker on the fuel rail covers and guess who got stuck sanding those!! Yea, ME!

Then, after entertaing a few of my daughter's 13-14 year old girl friends , I went for a dip and got back to sanding the backside of the hood while all you guys are having a blast hanging out of the windows at Duggans!

Larry, there is no telling how long the "main hulk" will be at the painters. They are a different breed. I'm hoping and I do mean hoping about 2-3 weeks.
Also, thanks for the vote of confidence.

Hey, not everybody goes out to Duggan's to hang out with the MIFBody guys. . . I was stuck at work.

                        It was torture.

They make me drive a Nissan. lol

The car is really coming along nicely, I can't wait to see it all finished!

Very, very nice build. Hope to get mine up to at least close to this level cleanliness some day.

On a more technical note, what was all involved in removing the doors? Is it just a couple of "main plugs" or do you have to unwire everything in the the door?

Thanx Jentry! I removed the door trim panel for paint anyway so it was easier for me to remove the wire harness from the door. I tried to unplug it from under the I/P but it proved to difficult and some connectors are well hidden.

Thank you, i have some issues with my door jams on the door sill towards the hinges and was wondering what was involved in just removing the doors.
