Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!

Did you find that 3.73 rear on LS1tech? There was 1 in Flint I offered the guy $150 for... He respectfully declined my offer
Yea Mike, I did get this fom a fellow on LS1Tech in Flint. That was about two months ago when I picked it up and I also couldn't get him to budge very much on his price. Although I'm not complaining because it is a nice piece. Thanks.
The day was spent today cleaning and painting more parts getting ready to lift this thing into its new home.; trans mount stuff, trans lines, crossmember, brackets and new struts.
Thanks to the boys for doing the dirty work.

"Parts and stuff" are going on so we are getting closer to mating!
Rather good day I guess, although I had to drill and tap in the side of the block for the knock sensors. I can't use the stock LS2 sensors with a LS1 ecm because of one wire vs two wire. I ended up contacting Katech and they suggested using knock sensors from a '04 Vette which are one wire. That's fine but the I did not feel comfortable with stock location of the knock sensors because the Vette sensors are larger and would be too close to the headers. So, a new location was in order and the holes needed to be made larger.
whoa, this is an awesome project. Just read the thread. amazing work. I can't wait to see the finished project.

HELP!
I justed took an inventory of what exactly I need prior to installing my engine and I am missing my brake booster vacuum line that connects to the back of the intake.
Must have tossed it with the old greasy 3.8 that came out of the car. What an ass!
If anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated because I was hoping to lift the engine in place in a day or two. I'm afraid if I wait to install it later on the intake I won't be able to reach the vacuum port.
Thanks guys! I did buy a vacuum line but I'm having a hard time finding the correct size check valve for the booster. At least I can proceed now that the vacuum line is on.
