    Posting this for a friend.

    1985 IROC-Z
    Started with a clean low mileage car and replaced almost everything.
    Here is a partial list.
    New Aluminum radiator
    New GM crate motor 383, 425 hp

    New 750 Barry Grant carb
    Aluminum Intake manifold
    Mallory wires and distributer
    SLP headers
    GMMG chambered exhaust
    Tremec HD 5 speed (the good one)
    new aluminum drive shaft
    02 leather seats with power driver
    New Autometer gauges
    The car is a must see with over $25,000 invested.
    The first $15,000.00 takes it.

    $15K for a non-special edition 3rd Gen seems a little ambitious, but it definitely looks like it would be a great car to own. I know I really loved my '85 IROC-Z and would love to have another someday. GLWS!

        Good luck! beautiful car! I just think for 15k the carpet should be cleaner or new, and little things like the coolant overflow bottle shouldnt have grease or oil smudges on it. Little nickel and dime things and it might be worth it.

          The carpet is Clean, the little dirt you see is on the floor mat. This car is Driven.
          I do believe that bottle has been replaced since the picture was taken.
