4th Gen ls9 Camaro yeah they have one. I would love to do an ls9 4th Gen but I'm not sure it is worth the coin. Imagine what you could have for 20k if you built an LSx car.

Saw that car at the employee car show at work in July. There's about 1/4" space under the cowl. They had a 68-70 Chevelle with a LS9 in it too. How much fun would it be to build those for a living?

The car was the same one GMPP placed a LS7 engine into. The car used to be the flat black one as seen in their February '07 issue. As far as the LS9 is concerned:
"After some careful consideration, the decision was made to place 47mm spacers in-between the BMR K-member and the chassis. This gave the necessary clearance needed for the blower without having to cut the cowl significantly, or having a negative effect on suspension geometry according to Copeland. The engine mounts were modified to lower the engine 5mm as well, and 15mm spacers were used between the cradle and the trans crossmember." -- Courtesy of GMHTP
They talked to Mike Copeland, GM Performance Division Project Manager

That would make sense, as the entire engine compartment still appears to be flat black too.

Man, I would love to be able to drive that thing!
