  • Just got my new Canuck Motorsports lowering springs

As soon as school is out and I get my struts/shocks and mounts from summit I am going to put these on. I'm guessing next week sometime. Next Monday is my last day of college till Aug 22.

I kinda ran short on cash but Summit kicks ass and approved me for a credit account with 0 interest for 90/180/360 days depending on amount spent over $150. Wish they woulda gave me just a bit more credit, but the $300 will work for now. Surprised I was approved at all, so I cant complain.

I'll be sure to take before and after pics and let yall know how well they ride.

    They sure do look nice:

From the deer? Sort of.... I did get another complete headlight assembly with motor and everything. And I already had new grilles that I had been procrastinating on, so yeah I basically have it covered. Only thing I havent got to is getting the small bent in my hood flattened back down where the headlight cover was smashed back into the hood. I got the headlight assembly in 2 days before the meet & greet. I think I'm gonna wait on the grilles until I get the car painted.

I just ordered the struts/shocks/mounts a few minutes ago from Summit, so hopefully they get here soon so I can get my new suspension installed.

Well got the struts/shocks/mounts from Summit and got to work today. I got the rear springs and shocks changed. I was surprised at the difference's from the original to these new springs. I'll throw in a pic cause I know how you all love pic's. The new springs have same number of turns but seem a bit stiffer and are shorter. Claimed 2" drop, and after I got them put in I noticed the change immediately. I woulda got pics of car but it was dark when I finished. I snapped some pics anyway, but you probably cant see the change since the front hasnt been done yet.

Anyway, I was planning on getting the fronts done tomorrow but Summit sent me a defective strut mount, so I had to call them and order another and Monday I gotta send the defective one back. At least they were cool about it and sent my new one out overnight shipping for free.
