  • 1995 Camaro B4C/GAM For Sale

REDUCED PRICE FROM LAST TIME IT WAS LISTED!

MUST SELL, BABY ON THE WAY!

    FOR SALE
    1995 Chevrolet Camaro
    B4C (Special Service Police Package)
GAM (Built for Federal Service Police/Gov.)

In 1995 there were 310 B4C Camaro's made and of those 310, there were 70 GAM Camaro's. Therefore this car is rare being 1 of 70 ever made in 1995.
    Exterior: Medium Quasar Blue Metallic
Interior: Graphite / Black. Cloth seats
Power Options: A/C, P/S, P/Mirrors, P/W, P/L, remote rear compartment unlock button, rear defogger, cruise control
    Engine: V8, LT1, 5.7 350
    Transmission: 4L60E, 4-Speed Auto w/ OD.
Mileage: 38,200 Original Miles. EXTREMELY LOW and DOCUMENTED.

This 1995 B4C Camaro was in-service with the US Fish and Wildlife Service, Division of Law Enforcement in Southern California. It was used for surveillance purposes, that is why the mileage is so low and why it is so clean. I have e-mailed and spoke with the Office Manager at the US Fish and Wildlife Service Office where this car served. She advised that the car never had any emergency equipment installed on it nor was it ever marked in any way. NO HOLES! I purchased it from a former police officer from Utah who bought it in California. When he retired, he brought the car with him to Florida and that is where I bought it from. The paint and interior are in excellent condition. The underside of the car is clean and there are no signs of rust anywhere on the car. There are no signs accident damage repair or reports of any accidents in the service records or on CARFAX. The engine compartment is VERY CLEAN and the engine runs strong; as it should with such low mileage. The only modification to the car is the window tinting on the side windows, rear hatch glass and along the top edge of the windshield. (The tinting can easily be removed.) I have searched the web for another 1995 GAM Camaro and have not been able to find one. This car, with these options and very low mileage, make it very collectible and rare.

I have the original window sticker and what appears to be a majority of the service records from California when it was in-service. These documents help to verify the actual mileage. When I purchased the car, the clear coat on the rims was starting to peel, so I purchased a new set of factory correct rims with Firehawk tires on them. The old rims (still in good shape, but not show quality) are included in the sale and have KUHMO rubber on them still have a lot of life left. I believe the previous owner put the KUHMO's on, but they did not look "factory" enough for me so I left them off. The new rims are PERFECT with many miles left on the tires!

Please visit the following link to see photos of the car, inside and out including the SPID label showing the B4C and GAM codes.

I have owned the car for less than a two years and hate to let it go. I doubt if I will ever find another one like it with such low mileage, but we are expecting our first child this summer and need to make some changes. The vehicle is located in Holland, Michigan and can be seen at anytime. I can e-mail more photos and please ask any questions that you may have. I am asking $9,000 for the car which is LESS than what I paid for it. I will entertain any serious offers, but I am already taking a loss on all I have done to the car. The car will be sold as-is with no warranty.

    Please e-mail Dave at: ocsd492@chartermi.net

This is a great car and a great time to pick it up before show season goes into full swing!

    Thanks for looking,
    Dave C.

Pretty nice, but I fear 9,000 for it might be too high in my opinion. Can pick up nice LT1s for a lot less, and the fact that it's a B4C GAM doesn't mean much to most people, only a certain breed of enthusiasts would pick up on that.

Im going to disagree, i think he can get that price. A car in good enough shape can pull that ammount. The other thing it has going for it is the medium quasar blue. thats a very desirable color and its not common.

I have seen B4C's asking price for that, but it would be a hard sell. '02 B4Cs average transaction price is around 9k. If someone wants a low mileage Camaro and LT1, then yeah. But as for a certain type of enthuaist, even police car collectors, '95 B4Cs are pulling in much lower. I paid a lot less than 9k for my '97 B4C, even though it was higher mileage, it is in similar shape.

              OK, thanks for the opinions....

So what should I be asking for it?

I paid $9,901 for it two (2) years ago, so I thought $9,000 would be a pretty reasonable price based on the Color, Condition, Low mileage, B4C/GAM.

As I stated I am willing to take offers, but based my price on what I paid for it a couple of years ago. I had it on e-bay last year and the bidding ended at $8,500. I probably should have sold it then, but thought I could get a bit more. I am a reasonable person and willing to take some advice from those of you with more Camaro knowledge. I appreciate the help...

I just don't want to take a major hit and accept several thousand less than what I paid for it.

              Thanks again,
              Dave C.

P.S. I live on the Northside of Holland near 112th/Riley.

i think your asking price is fine. i paid 9k for my car with 75k miles in 03. people still think i was crazy but i dont regret it one bit. car was and still is flawless. "you get what you pay for" Mine isnt anything special other than the fact that is probably the most desireable optioning combo. that car is rare on three accounts and in perfect shape. i think 9 is reasonable.

                        Nice!
I'd say its worth what your asking.
It is an asking price, and not firm.
If you start out too low, people think its a POS.

                            Lowering the price...

I know many have said the $9,000 asking price was fair, but I am still struggling to get the car sold. I have had a few calls and inquiries, but no solid bites or lookers.

Therefore, I have lowered the price again based on some of the posts and comments in this thread. As stated before, I paid $9,900.00 for this great Camaro 2 years ago, but I must sell due to a baby coming in a little over a month.

New asking price: $8,500.00. I am certainly willing to talk with anyone who wants to make an offer, but as you can see I am already taking a big loss.

Contact info is listed in the first post, if you have any questions please let me know.

                            Thanks for looking...
