Something is wrong with my transmission...

I have a 94 Z28 with an automatic...I recently bought it..it had a rebuilt trans...2500 stall converter shift kit..etc...

Everything was perfect till yesterday I took off from a light,it made a ratchet kind of noise,then i pulled into a parking lot...and my D and OD dont engage..but my 2 does....I dont know...my Dad took a look at it and said its some electrical problem...So i have an additional ecu along with the one in it....It came with a Hypertech tuner so I dont know..Please help

I just had a simular problem and mine ended up being a speed govener its in th driver side of the tranni its a round cover near the tail just pop that cover off and pull the thing out and at the end is a gear.if its bad thats the problem.hope it helps good luck

I've heard of those going bad.,good piont to start at...
If not ,run some tests on it..
