  • Michigan FBody Association - 2 Years Old!

Well, I was planning on waiting until tomorrow to post this, but I'm tired of using meissenation. I just like using meissen so much more.

Two years ago, I was down in my basement and was talking to Tim (he has the Pewter Firebird) and was telling him "You know, all the other states have a FBody website, but what about Michigan? We're the only state home to the big 3, and yet we have no fbody website?" Tim thought it was a good idea, so on a whim I registered MiFbody.com and created the site.

Two years later, we're larger than I ever could have expected. The site's popularity and activity has skyrocketed. I just came on for the first time since 6pm yesterday and I had 298 new posts to read. That's freaking sick.

Needless to say, the MAIN people to thank are you guys! I created the site and gave you guys the vehicle, but it's you guys that provide the gas, the movement, and make the car get to where it is today. Without all of you, I'd feel like one of the biggest parts of my life would have never existed. MiFbody is the meaning in my life that I always lacked, and I truely want to thank everyone for being here on the site and posting. I also want to take the time to really thank the WMCC for coming on board. I remember about this time last year I sent out an email to EMCC and WMCC asking if they wanted to partner up for a message board. I heard back from Gary pretty quick, and then watched as the site was flooded with "WMCC ______" for the new members. I never knew they were going to take over the site, but I honestly feel if it weren't for WMCC, the site wouldn't have gotten so popular so fast.

In any case, i really consider you all my family, and I feel honored to have met all of you in the past 2 years. Here's to MiFbody, 2 years old and still growing. Let's hope for many more years ahead.

                  Brian,

Thank you for the kind words. But the credit must really go to YOU. If this site didn't have the friendly , family "feel" that it does, I'm sure many of our WMCC family wouldn't have stayed around for long.

Thank you for creating this place for us all to hang out. Even if it did turn Gary into a major Post Whore!

                  and

                      Ol' Rock N' Roller

Congrat, Man... All the hard work has paid off.

I got to say, tho, before I got on this site, I never surfed these kind of sites. I did not know how to sign up, or anything. Now I can't believe how much time I spend on this site.

And thanks to this site, I have met so many new friends in the past year.

Here's to the next year of CAR CRAZY ACTIVITY... Keep on Rockn'

Who are you again and what's this site about? LOL! I've only been on here about a year and it's grown a lot in that time. Hopefully this year will be even better!

Good job Brian.....it's awesome what you have created here. It's so nice to have a local site where we can all chat and actually get to meet each other. I'm looking forward to meeting more members this summer.
